Jim Wright Surveying is a small, family run, Land Surveying business, but our size does not prevent us calling upon the resources to take on major projects.

The firm was founded in 2000 when Jim Wright took early retirement from his position as a Senior Regional Surveyor in the Water Industry and was joined by his son Ian, a graduate who had been working in the industry for the previous 5 years.

We can call upon experience dating back to the mid-sixties in The Ordnance Survey and Local Government as well as the Water Industry. Survey methods have been continually updated, from the early use of computers through to the latest in GPS and VRS technology.

Being a small firm we can tailor our methods to suit the particular requirements of our clients. Our aim is to understand our client's needs and to provide the service they require without the need for an exhaustive survey specification.

Since our inception our major clients have been in the Water, Rail, Environment and Forestry Industries.

We are based close to Shrewsbury with easy access to the motorway system for countrywide travel.
